Amanda Auchter is the founding editor of Pebble Lake Review and the author of The Glass Crib, winner of the Zone 3 Press First Book Award for Poetry, judged by Rigoberto González and the chapbook Light Under Skin.  She has received numerous awards and honors from Bellevue Literary Review, BOMB Magazine, Bread Loaf Writers Conference, Bucknell University, Crab Orchard Review, Poetry International, Southern Indiana Review, Mid-American Review, and was a 2007 finalist for the Ruth Lilly Poetry Fellowship.  Her writing has appeared in American Poetry Review, Best New Poets, Court Green,  Indiana Review, The Iowa Review, Pleiades, Poetry Daily, and elsewhere. She holds an MFA from Bennington College and teaches creative writing and literature at Lone Star College, where she serves as the College System Creative Writing Committee Co-Chair.
